I have a network with 2 computers and a router .the first is a laptop win vista.and the 2nd xp..ican see the 1st from the 2nd ..but i cant see the 2nd from the vista ..d 1st

check the firewall rules to see if "File and Print Sharing" is in fact enabled on the vista box...
There is a form in the control panel, "network and sharing center" or something alike that gathers important configurations for network sharing under vista... Check there and the firewall rules...
