How do i set up network sharing to share files between my 2 computers?

I currently have 2 dell dimension computers that are fairly newer. Both have wireless cards installed and connect through a gateway 1800hg 2wire router using att yahoo dsl. I would like to share files on both computers....music, pictures, documents, etc...... Could someone please explain how to set this up?

My computer skill level is somewhat moderate but im no pro.

Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Network and Internet %26gt; Network and Sharing Center %26gt; (you must be on a PRIVATE network to do the following) %26gt; Scroll Down to "File Sharing" %26gt; Turn On.

To add files to network:

Start %26gt; Computer %26gt; Local Disk or C: drive %26gt; Users %26gt; Public %26gt; then copy and paste your pictures in Public Pictures, Paste your Documents in Public Documents and so on and so forth.

To acces those files from another comuter:

Start %26gt; Network %26gt; "Your User name" %26gt; Public %26gt; then you will see the files you added to Public folder on your computer.
