i have 2 computers in my house and i want one to dial up and if i run a Ethernet cable to the other one with that work, when i dial up and connect will the other one connect as well even tho it has no modem?

If your not using a hub / router you'll need a crossover cable to use ICS.

It's been quite awhile but if I remember right you will have to connect with the computer that has the modem first then access the net through the other computer.
I am not 100% sure on that part though.

Wanting to use you Internet connection on two computers has nothing to do with being a pirate you can run it on ten if you have the network setup / bandwidth it's all a matter of personal preference, and your capped at a certain speed whether you run one or ten. I think you need to research a bit before making false accusations

Sygate used to have a program called Homegate that was for specifically for that.
im not sure but you can try the bluetooth wireless dial up router .... though it at fry's but i dont think they sell it anymore you'll have to check try this place

Why would want to? Both computers would be trying to squeeze data through the slow connection, making it even slower.
