Do You Think Wars Are Fought By Computers?

Don't you think, that the next "major" war will not be fought with troops or tanks, but with computers? Whats your opinion?

Wars can be fought with computers. every year nations hold simulation exercises and the results are within the realm of accuracy. The deal with computers is that you can hack into countries power grids and transportation grids and completely shut them down. It may only be for a few minutes, but that would provide the window of opportunity to launch a full scale attach. This especially would be achievable with EMR devices that kill everything that uses power. "War of the Worlds" is a bad example, but theoretically EMR devices do exactly what the so called alien machines were able to. EMR pulses are so affective they're being used in todays wars. Computers are so essential to war and strategy that if a nation lost their ability to use the computer, they might very quickly lose the war. Think about it this way. When a store's cash register's go down and they have to do everything by hand, how effective are the cashiers? Operations almost cease and you wait in line forever.

Too much television for you dude.
War is fought by computers every day. Very few weapons do not have some type of computer control or enhancement.
